Biologist Thomas Volpers, who has been living and working in Uckermark as a nature conservation consultant, nature guide and landscape planner since 1993, is familiar with the most beautiful spots in Uckermark’s three National Natural Landscapes. He is a Nature Park and National Park partner.

Experience nature at close quarters – on a bicycle trip to see the beavers, a bat tour, exploring ponds with the family or on a canoe trip. And if you’d like to learn more about the meat-eating plants on the moor, our impressive forests or the origin of the dunes and heathland – together, we’ll find the right trip to the most beautiful spots in the Uckermark Lake District Nature Park, the Schorfheid-Chorin Biosphere Reserve or the Unteres Odertal National Park.

Every season has something to offer nature-lovers: The tracks of the otters in the winter snow, birdsong in spring, barefoot walks in the summer and the spectacular migration of the birds in the autumn.

Guided tours are also available in English.
