The route goes through the Zerweliner Heide nature reserve to Boitzenburg. The striking neo-renaissance style structure is among Brandenburg’s biggest and most beautiful castles. The trail continues through vast forests, along lakes and moors and to Warthe. Großer Warthesee is a great place to go for a swim.
