The fifth stage of the Märkisch Overland Trail covers from Ringenwalde to Wolletz. Going east throughout, the route crosses the forest and lakeland scenery of the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. Near Peetzing, the trail goes south into a beautiful forest, all the way to Wolletz with its lake of the same name.

Start: Ringenwalde / Finish: Wolletz

How to get there: Take the RE3 (Stralsund) from Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof) to Eberswalde. From here take the Schorfheide-Bahn (RB63) and PlusBus Schorfheide (515) to Ringenwalde.

Return journey: Take the BiberBus line 462 (april till october) from Wolletz to Angermünde. Continue from here by taking the RE3 (Jüterbog/Wittenberg) to Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof) (about 1.5 hours).

Route: Ringenwalde, Poratz, Peetzig, Wolletz
