The sixth stage of the Märkisch Overland Trail covers from Wolletz to Angermünde. It meanders along the northern shore of Wolletzsee. After a forested stretch, the route arrives in the outskirts of Angermünde and finally in its historic town centre.

Start: Wolletz / Finish: Angermünde

How to get there: Take the RE3 (Stralsund) from Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof) to Angermünde. From here take the BiberBus 462 (april till october) to Wolletz (about 1.5 hours).

Return journey: From Angermünde take the RE3 (Falkenberg/Wittenberg) to Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof) (about 1 hour).

Route: Wolletz, northern shore of Wolletzsee, Angermünde

Points of interest:
  • Angermünde: Cultural centre monastery church, protestant church congregation St. Mary’s Angermünde, sculpture promenade at Mündesee

The tour can be combined with the following other routes:
