The brick chapel with its slender tower was built in the 14th century as a prayer house for a neighbouring hospital. The building became the home of the Uckermark Museum in 1899. It burnt out in 1945 and with it important testimonials of the region's history. The Heiliggeistkapelle chapel was recently given a new roof, and it will be used as an exhibition space in the future.
