Sternhagen Gut lies in a quiet, rural location not far from Lake Sternhagener See, which is a popular attraction for swimmers in the summer.

The countless forests in the surrounding area and the Luisenhöhen nature conservation area nearby offer great opportunities for long walks, and the network of cycle paths, including the Berlin-Usedom route, also makes Sternhage Gut the ideal place for sporting activities.

The Attic:

In addition, the two rooms in the attic with up to 3 beds can be rented in addition.

Both apartments have access to the large West Terrace, 100 square metres, with large barbecue area.

The holiday apartments are reached via a separate house door and staircase. Guests can thus enjoy maximum independence and flexibility.

Extras:

The manor house in Sternhagen was first mentioned in history books in the 13th century and took on its most recent function as an estate farm in the 19th century.

In 1948, most of the castle fell victim to a fire and only the domestic wing survives today.

Behind the house lies a park, on which trees have now encroached; it was originally designed by the famous landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné. The garden are also no longer in their original state. However, one of what was once two lakes reveals, with its many willow trees, just how sophisticated the gardens must once have been.

The building was extensively restored and modernised from top to bottom by the Hohenzollern architectural practice in 2008-2009.

The lower floor is used privately, and there are two high-quality holiday apartments on the upper floor:

The “Tower” apartment for 2-3 people and the larger apartment for 4 to 5 people.
