The local history parlour is dedicated to life in the country and rural household equipment. It is located in the listed community hall in the village centre. The building was used as Klaushagen’s village school between 1867 and 1963, and is often referred to as the “old school”, even nowadays. At the local history parlour there is also a comprehensive chronicle with information about more than 730 years of history of the village, as well as neighbouring Lichtenhain and the settlement of Suhrhof. Both villages are now part of Klaushagen as a district of the Boitzenburger Land region.
