The Uckermark fire-fighting museum is located in Kunow, a part of Schwedt. It is operated by the Feuerwehrhistorik Kunow e.V. association. Since 2011, we have been presenting our exhibits in a new museum building. The exhibition takes visitors on a trip through the history of fire-fighting and the fire brigade. Find out, how fires were extinguished in the past and how the fire fighting trade has evolved. Vehicles, pumps, uniforms and many other items are presented in the permanent exhibition. Special exhibitions are organised at regular intervals.
