Schwedt River Bathing Area (Flussbadestelle Schwedt) is located at the ramparts not far from the Fischer Zahn fisheries museum (the smallest of its kind in Germany) directly on the banks of the Alte Oder river.

The bathing area has wicker beach chairs, a sunbathing lawn, 50 metres of soft sandy beach and is marked by 20 buoys. There is a restaurant and boat rental nearby. The best way to get there is on foot or by bike on the Oder-Neisse cycle path.
