Blumberger Mühle is the multimedia experience centre at Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. This is a great place for city dwellers to visit – both young and old. The information centre recreates a hollow tree stump, symbolising the cycle of life in the natural world. Outside, trails lead through the landscape of ponds, meadows and reed beds. Birds such as osprey and cranes can be observed from well-camouflaged viewing towers. The large playground with its water spring and maze is particularly exciting for children.

Events await visitors all year round: Family days, themed weeks, lectures, guided tours and so much more. "Blumberger Mühle" restaurant serves cuisine made from local, organic products.

Tip: Guided tours with the ranger are available in the World Natural Heritage Site Grumsin. Prices and dates upon request.

Admission is free for NABU members and residents of the Angermünde town district. Guests who want to visit Blumberg Mill several times a year can purchase an annual ticket.

Shop: From the gift shop to the garden and animal worlds, there is something for every nature lover whether young or old. All goods are shipped and delivered using DHL’s GoGreen carbon neutral service.
