The weir is located at the point the Ucker flows out of Unteruckersee in Prenzlau. Boats must be carried past the weir. To the left of the weir facilities at the lake, there is a small structure that enables water tourers to get out easily. Boats have to be carried for about 60 metres. On the lower side of the weir, right next to St Sabine’s Church, there is a wooden jetty that allows for a easy entry into the water.

Thanks to good parking facilities, the weir is also a suitable starting point for water touring on the Ucker.
