Travelling by houseboat

Ahoy and cast off! The barrier-free Febomobil from Kuhnle-Tours takes you on a long journey across the Havel. It offers space for a family with a relative in a wheelchair and - best of all - leisure captains don't need a boat licence, just a detailed briefing. Our tour tip takes the boat crew from Zehdenick via Mildenberg, Fürstenberg/Havel and Himmelpfort to Lychen - and back. A total of eight days on the water, the winding course of the river is particularly beautiful here in the north of Brandenburg and offers several lock experiences.

Some Kuhnle-Tours houseboats are also adapted for blind people and people with impaired vision. For people with impaired hearing, the radio, echo sounder and control panels can be visually distinguished. It is important to remember that people with disabilities should not be travelling alone on a houseboat. After all, the equipment is not that optimal

Tips for shore excursions
