Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen is an impressive landscape of terminal moraines that today makes for the perfect place to go hiking, cycling and discovering with its expansive forest areas and post-mining landscape. The site of the school field trip centre in Jerischke features an information centre with an exhibition on the geology of the park, explaining its formation during the Ice Age as well as the background behind lignite mining and the discovery of the Klinge mammoth. An exhibition of local forest animals rounds off the selection.

The spaces make it possible to hold educational and informational events for groups. A two- to five-kilometre-long nature trail is perfect to discover the surrounding area. The information centre is located near the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path.
