Blumenthal observation tower is about 45 metres tall and therefore one of the highest wooden observation towers in Germany. The construction was initiated by local residents and completed in September 2004. The result was a destination for a day out and hike with a unique design idea. The platform is located at a height of 36.4 metres. The tower is easy to climb via the 187 steps. Parking close to nature and a hiking trail to the tower, with information panels providing details about the construction of the tower, make the visit an unforgettable experience.
